Where is the firmware for hdmi 2.1?????

Patience is the only game in town, unless you feel a nudge to drop an AVR onto office desk of product manager to let them know that it's about time.

Anyway, are there any owners posting shots of open AVRs with HDMI 2.1 boards exposed, where chips are exposed under removed heatsinks? There are people curious to find out serial number of HDMI 2.1 chips used in those new models.

Yes, just remove heatsinks to see the serial numbers of the three transceiver/switch chips.

Vendors never say what chips they use. They think it's "industry secret". I think consumers are treated as being dumb. If we know serial numbers, we can look up the spec. That's how we found out about HDMi 2.1 chips in PS5 and Xbox SX, once iFixit made tear down of consoles and exposed bare motherboards.

If anyone could expose chips' number and post photo, that would be awesome.
