Finally got around to changing the network adapter in my desktop to a 1.0 Gpbs PCIe card. That's the last step to gettting my home network upgrades finished. The laptops are all running with 802.11n dual band adapters on 5 Mhz band, all the interconnect cables are Cat6, the router is 1.0 Gpbs and the switch is 1.0 Gpbs.

All I need now is 1Gb FIOS to make it into my neighborhood.

You need to send me your modem info, so we can tweak it.. If it is docsis 3.0, you can get over 50 meg with your current setup
