I am guilty of seeing the sales price but failing to note it was UK/EU pricing. (Apologies for getting anyone's hopes up...still seems a screaming good deal for our Euro audioholics, though)

The thing is this, Monoprice don't routinely ship to EU since they shut down the Monoprice GmbH. I've asked for a quote to UK for a single and dual. They shipped out a single replacement for one of my faulty M-15s, but shipping out individual units is expensive, unless they are going to wait till they have enough orders to ship in bulk to a distribution hub in Europe. I'll bet Monoprice are kicking themselves by foreclosing the GmbH operation as the on/off, up/down Trump tariffs must be a pain in the ass to plan for. Having a reliable EU logistical supply seems like a good way to spread riks.
