I hate being so sick on a Friday that you actually go see a doctor for the first time in 10 years. I have the most severe soar throat I've ever had. Swallowing anything is excruciatingly painful, but yet I'm not really sick, no runny nose or congestion or anything. I thought it might be throat cancer so I went in. He says its not strep, but he didnt know what it was so they did a biopsi. Sticking a large cotten swab down your throat sucks! I made the doctor blush when I said to my wife I dont know how you do this all the time lol.

The good news, they gave me antibiotics and the first one is making me euphoric! I don't know what it is, but I feel a little bit high. Throat still killing me, but the rest of my is having a great time lol.
Warm Salt water gargle with that should help ease the pain some. Wait till you have to have you prostate exam. Sticking a cotton swap down your throat ain’t nothing, just make sure you pick a urologist with small hands. Oh one more thing when the Doctor says bend over and drop your pants, look back and make sure he doesn’t have both hands on you shoulders.

Just hate it when I get a song in my head and can NOT remember the actual name of the song. I have got the music parts down to a science, but the lyrics not so much. It is an Eagles song......LOL!!!! But, they have so many and it will take me like forever to find it. As such, just waiting until I remember some of the lyrics and then BAM!

Cheers,

Phil

Those are like a 6 MO build, right?

I have a pair of speakers coming to Seattle from Florida late next week and that feels like forever (only 8 days). Can’t imagine what you must be like.

The lead time (closer to 3 months)was/is quite long. My finish does require more time, but it's worth the wait.

Sending a message to a Craigslist seller saying 'call me' only to have them send a message back.

It's 2 f^%&in' words. Where is the confusion?

Tons of scammers on CL. I was looking to buy a car two years ago found a sweet deal at least I thought so. When I finally got a reply back it went something like this, I’m overseas in the army but you can send the money on a money order or Cashiers check. Sent a email back I said send me the keys to the car first so I can at least test drive it never got a response back.

Such wisdom for one so young. (I have no idea how old you are.)

I'm a big fan of paying a pro over living with hack in perpetuity.

15 years ago I'd do it. I dont bend over so well anymore, and am willing to pay a pros kid to go to college. Once I hit forty and started breaking, I gave up on doing the projects. 50s now and enjoying life :)

Same here, I use to do my oil change on my car and truck but since I had my knee replacement and all the other injuries from the oilfield I pay the extra 10 or 15 bucks to get it done at all change place. I know your going to enjoy them highend speakers for a long time. Please post up your thoughts and post photos would like to hear about them fine speakers you got coming in.

I hate it that some people evidently have way too much time on their hands. Need proof? Watch below:

How would you like to have a co-worker like this? He might want to lay off of the beans! Just saying........

You would think by now sitcoms on TV would do away with that fake laugh track. It’s so annoying, to me it takes away from the show.

Hey how are you coming alone with your rehab? Hope it’s going good.

Mike
I was gonna make a joke about which rehab but thought that might be a little insensitive to all the pussies who actually do go to different rehab things instead of just drinking to excess like normal people. Stairs are my new super power and today I took codeine instead of oxycodone early in the morning and nothing since, if that's any indication of just how well this is moving along. My PT chick is going to be heart broken when I eventually have to brake it to her that I only let her rub that coconut oil on me because of it's therapeutic value. Tomorrow at 8 is our next dat ... er, I mean appointment. I'm probably gonna let her touch me some more before breaking her heart.

I like the laugh tracks. I grew up with live studio audiences! I hate the new style like modern family that everybodys doing. I want comedy, not lets pretend this is realy happening drama.

Them PT peeps get paid very well like 120 K a year. When I was going to rehab 3 times a week at 300 a pop for 6 months so umm 900 a week x 4 weeks comes to 3.600 a month x 6 comes to 21.600 bucks they made just off of me and the rehab was always full of broke up people. The sad thing about it the PT peeps hardly did anything they would come put weights on the leg or push down on it for a few minutes tell you how many time to do a set of something and walk off and go bullshit with other PT peeps. The best thing about PT was when it was over. It wipes you out having to deal with that much pain 24/7. It was over a year before I was pain free. Best of luck with your rehab!
