I don't know what half of that means. I set up the other than hotmail accounts to avoid Internet Explorer on a Vista laptop. It was slow AF. Firefox and hotmail never worked together for me and now that I have Windows 10, I still don't use IE because FF was better about ads and pop ups.

Is IE not a POS on Windows 10 w/ a SS drive?
You could try "AdBlocker" and it's free. I am using it and I am satisfied.

With IE? I'm already conditioned to experience dread and the feeling of impending doom at the sight of the lower case blue 'e'.

FF has Adblock Plus plus uBlock Origin, whatever they do. I don't currently have any compelling reason to use IE.

They got my number and the next day I got a phone solicitation, prerecorded unfortunately. The last phone solicitation was like a month ago. Coincidence? Maybe. who cares, next person to raise me on my phone that doesn't know me is gonna wanna hang up before me cause I've got ALL f^%&in' day to talk about the color of their underwear.

I use FF on the Laptop and use the "No Script" extension which is an ad-blocker and also blocks unauthorized scripts from running. Yeah, some websites hate it because it blocks ads, but the system runs so much better and it has cut down on the amount webpages that get highjacked by a rogue ad.

At least you hate something, welcome to the club of the human race. This Thread was started mostly to get to know the members on this Forum, of their likes and dislikes. It isn’t meant as a pure Hate thing mostly of dislikes about somethings be it, electronics, politics Munding things had a bad day kind of thing. Like for example, you at a grocery store a bunch of people blocking your way so you got to go all the way around to get to the other side of the aisle to get to the product you want to buy can be very aggravating.

It's cool Mike I get it. If one must know what I really hate is Blu ray player quality of today and for the last so many years. I feel these players in general are crap. There are a few left on the market that makes a nice solid product but most are just crap built.
I don't care for how products work or lack there of. I never seen so many failures in my life. Years ago we didn't have constant failure of audio video products like we do today and for the last so many years. It started with the Denon AVR3808 and ever since then it's been a long failure road for so many products like Samsung Tv's etc.
It's a shame in general people would rather buy a less quality product over a nicer quality product. Seems like Wallmart has more customers then most other stores which tells you what people in general are willing to spend on things.
I grew up liking quality. I buy the better or best ones all the time. I don't care for the cheaper ones of most anything expect maybe t shirts.
When I buy a cheaper pair of work shoes, they wear out and are not as comfortable or as functional as the better ones like Merrell. I wear hiking shoes at work and boots when it snows. Good boots are always worth the extra cost.
I currently have a opportunity Blu ray player which right before I had and still have but it's back in it's box the Sony X700 which plays just fine but the build quality kills me. It's the cheapest player I ever owned and only picked up as I thought I was not going to get a Oppo 203 or 205 as I waited what seemed like forever to re a email response.
So yeah I could go on and one about things I basically hate as many things today bother me. The way the world is right now bothers me but thats an entire conversation I prefer not to have as I feel people need to live their lives as they see fit. I just don't take part in the things I don't believe in.
This is an audio video forum and I come in here to talk with others who share my passion. This is why i commented as I did the first time. I do hate talking about what I hate LOL.

Like you I have experience many failures with A/V gear too. My first bad taste was my 51” Samsung plasma TV that cost me 1.800.00 back in 2011 it lasted just under 18 months. Than not one but two AVR’s crapped out on me a Onkyo and a HarmanKardon than, yep blue-ray player and last two Polk Pro subs amps crapped out a few months apart. I almost give up on Home theater gear to the point of going back to just two channels lol. I come here like you do to share my passion for this hobby with people who understand like you do and others. Genes site with all the old timers on here who are a wealth of knowledge and experience that they have are no doubt the best you can find on the Web. Gene and his staff are top notch in my book and I have been on other sites and I have found none can even come close to Gene, and his staff with their unbiased honest reviews. The Old Timers on here are a great bunch here they will go out of there way with helping and even troubleshooting if need be. Plus when they get together on threads and post as they often do can be outright hilarious with some of their posts it been a Pleasure getting to know these guys in here. I’m getting ready to upgrade my speakers very soon will be going with RBH impression series their elite series can’t come fast enough 6 weeks to go! Great to meet ya in here! Dmantis10!

I hate living in a small town. Nobody educated them on the rules of the fast lane. They pair up together on a 2 lane highway and drive less than the speed limit and won't let anyone pass. Cruise control is something they will never try to understand and some times I'll pass the same car 3 times in a few miles. They also couldn't handle a 4 way stop sign if their lives depended on it! I miss the city some times, can ya tell?

Yes...true!! You have to manually go in and approve what you allow. But I have not had a webpage highjacked or dealt with pop-ups since. Since I am one of the few that actually us the internet for reading, it works fine for me. Plus it's my work laptop so I try to be paranoid.

I live in a large city. NO ONE knows how to drive a 4 way stop anymore. I work near a major intersection that is a 4-way stop with a 4-lane road crossed by a 2-lane road. Seriously, it's a 4 way stop but still there is an accident roughly once a week. No blowing the stop, but just stupidly not knowing how a 4 way stop works! My genetic offspring have learned new vocabulary because of that intersection.

Ever drive on I-65 in Indiana between Chicago and Indianapolis? Not small town traffic but one semi doing 60.5 mph passing one going 60 mph which is fine until they hit the hill and the one doing 60.5 mph loses ground and it starts all over again. It's a 70 mph zone. Most people do 80 when there are not trucks.

Hate the fact that the Catholic Church in Pennsylvania covered up the fact of pedophile Priest for decades! You could say I’ve lost my Faith in the holy church. To much of this and other things that the Roman catholic church has been doing over the centuries.

I hate that stuff too. I work for an internet provider and when the cops submit warrants for customer information I'm the guy that gives them the information. Most of them are for kiddie porn. We got one a couple years ago and when I looked up the owner of the ip address it was an employee of ours! His home internet. So I called the cop that issued the warrant and I said, this is awkward, but the guy is sitting 2 offices down from me. The cop told me he would need a couple days to get the arrest warrant in order and in the mean time to say nothing to anyone. You have no idea how difficult it is working with someone and knowing what they did, and whats about to go down, and have to pretend like everything is normal. Eventually they showed up to work and arrested him right there on the spot, in my office. I would prefer that I never have to deal with something like that again.

You Yanks blame the Russians for everything these days.:) Well, I got my own suspicions. It’s a Nordost/Monster/AudioQuest/Kimber lobby targeting us to try and put an end to the truth about their products.

Killdozzer, man I tell ya back in the day before we had cell phones when you couldn’t be tracked or it took 15 minutes for them to trace a call. You could call them chumps back or prank call them till they left you alone. Now you can’t even tell anyone like, hey I know where you live and I’ll throw a Brick in the windshield of your car. They done took all the fun away. Dam Russians having all the fun. Lol

I hate being so sick on a Friday that you actually go see a doctor for the first time in 10 years. I have the most severe soar throat I've ever had. Swallowing anything is excruciatingly painful, but yet I'm not really sick, no runny nose or congestion or anything. I thought it might be throat cancer so I went in. He says its not strep, but he didnt know what it was so they did a biopsi. Sticking a large cotten swab down your throat sucks! I made the doctor blush when I said to my wife I dont know how you do this all the time lol.

The good news, they gave me antibiotics and the first one is making me euphoric! I don't know what it is, but I feel a little bit high. Throat still killing me, but the rest of my is having a great time lol.
