They agreed to keep him for an extended stay but apparently it’s illegal to medicate the clinically insane against their will. They are are completely batshit crazy and it’s against the law to get them in their right minds nd so that they can make a decision on if they want to be sane or insane. I get that there’s arguments on both sides of this but common sense tells me getting someone to a point that they can somewhat think straight to make an informed decision about their mental health is probably a good idea.
