You must have some reading comprehension problems. Is age getting to you?Wow, Dems are getting their panties all in a bind ! Fetterman to the rescue.............
LMAO, good to hear from you SFB !You must have some reading comprehension problems. Is age getting to you?
"FETTERMAN: Yeah, but I mean, it's like, you know, we are here to work together. And some things you can agree or disagree, but I think that's how D.C. works." sounds similar to:Wow, Dems are getting their panties all in a bind ! Fetterman to the rescue.............
SFB? Is that the nickname your mother gave you?LMAO, good to hear from you SFB !
Here is one Canadian MP making fun of Trump by saying that California could be the 11th province of Canada.Calling to make Canada the 51st. state is beyond absurd.
Love it !! Come on Monty Hall ! 'Let's make a Deal', hell, we'll throw in New Joisey while we 're at it !Here is one Canadian MP making fun of Trump by saying that California could be the 11th province of Canada.Of course, there are other US states that could join as well!
It is an act of aggression by President-elect Trump, and the brutal dictators and enemies Putin and Xi are now quite happy. As a Canadian, I feel very threatened by that remark. By its very nature, Trump's statement is an act of aggression towards Canada and could be considered as an act of war. "Economically starve Canada into submission and joining the US" is a statement of aggression no matter how you look at it. I have nothing against America as a whole. There are a few issues I see personally with the US but what country doesn't have issues? I know we in Canada have our own fare share of issues. I consider a Trumpless America a country of friends and brothers but with that ahole running it, I feel very threatened.
Words have consequences when the President-elect of the world's most powerful military and economy threatens like a low-life thug. Perhaps stop carrying water for Trump?3db, Trump blows a lot of hot air, IMO you'll be fine, I hope .........
He does, but he also has form in criminality on a monstrous scale. I think there is reason to be very worried and not just in America.3db, Trump blows a lot of hot air, IMO you'll be fine, I hope .........
I share your concerns. The US Presidency puts far too much power in the hands of one man. US citizens need to demand a new Constitutional Conference. The US constitution is not in any way fit for the modern age. It is in fact a "Clear and Present Danger."As a Canadian, I feel very threatened by that remark. And way more power now with the immunity ruling by the Supreme Court. Buckle up this could get bad for all of us but hopefully not. Anyone remember stand back and stand by?I share your concerns. If Congress would act as they should, this and the Constitution wouldn't be an issue but THEY have the duty to invoke the 25th Amendment and along with SCOTUS, prevent POTUS going off the rails but Congress is a clown car with balloon animals in the driver's seats.I share your concerns. Part of an on going dialogueWow, Dems are getting their panties all in a bind ! Fetterman to the rescue.............
Then, there's Musk's interference in British and German politics. He is a representative of the incoming administration, so statements from him must be regarded as approved by Trump. Putin must be salivating at the prospect of NATO imploding, because that's a possible outcome of this nonsense. He wants Greenland because of its strategic location in the Arctic. There are rumors about it being mineral rich, Lithium especially. However, you don't invade and seize others territory. That is fascism and acting like Putin and Hitler. The military must not carry out any order he gives to attack what is NATO territory. That will make the world a dangerous place and end the NATO alliance. Nato has deterred Armageddon for sixty years plus.
The US built the Panama canal. President Carter gave the territory back to Panama. Trump says the canal fees for shipping are too high.
Calling to make Canada the 51st. state is beyond absurd. Trump is unfit for office and there is no doubt about it.
I would be incredibly radical. I would get rid of the Presidency for a start. There is far too much power invested in one individual. If Congress would act as they should, this and the Constitution wouldn't be an issue but THEY have the duty to invoke the 25th Amendment and along with SCOTUS, prevent POTUS going off the rails but Congress is a clown car with balloon animals in the driver's seats.
Remember, the Constitution defines what the government CAN'T do, it's not there to tell the people what we can do.
Exactly, what would you change? We already know some of your views on 2A/guns, what would you do to the rest of the Amendments? How are the rest "not in any way fit for the modern age"?
Term limits is one of the first changes I would add. This lifelong politician crap needs to end. Also, as soon as someone in high office shows signs of impairment, as Biden and several others clearly did even before the 2020 election, they need to be examined FULLY and without concern for any political party or agenda. The political parties need to be made less powerful and they need to adhere to the balanced budget amendment. Holding the government hostage needs to end, they need to conduct elections legally and not shove a candidate out without a primary.
Our election process is a clusterflop.

Any constitution is only as good as the respect it's given. Trump has clearly demonstrated that the US Constitution is a document to be circumvented when it presents an impediment to his agenda. If he announces that he will run again in 2028, I would be surprised if anyone stopped him.I share your concerns. The US Presidency puts far too much power in the hands of one man. I think Republicans would like to forget that one.And way more power now with the immunity ruling by the Supreme Court. Buckle up this could get bad for all of us but hopefully not. Anyone remember stand back and stand by?
