I bought this, album number 7 out of the George Mitchell series. There is some serious good blues from these relatively obscure Blues artists.

What kind of problem you had with your player? I have had mine for 2.5 years and haven't had any issues with mine. After sending my Marantz Blu-ray to the shop 4x and having it finally crap out again, I am done. I may love my Pre-Pro, but I am staying away from anything else Marantz OL
Went with Oppo 103 and so far very happy. Was going to use my PS4 as my go 2 blu ray player, but their is a noticeable difference in picture quality.

Ohh.. That is quite bad issue indeed.. Hopefully mine won't get issue like that as I really like my player and the fact that I can use same remote for my player and avr. That sounds like the reader unit has some balance issue or that the laser is not working properly and it has to speed up to crazy levels.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1U70Z07OWKo
This is exactly what has happened to my unit 4 times. I finally gave up now that it is out of warranty
Advice from my grandfather:I also got ear protection for my son since Grandma loves giving him lawn mower rides.
While anything should be better than nothing, I'm surprised there isn't a single mention of the noise reduction level. I had bought a box of 500 pr of Howard Leight in-ear plugs years ago for use in motorcycling (still have more than half) and when I chose I looked at the various Noise Reduction Ratings. The ones I have are a -33dB.I also got ear protection for my son since Grandma loves giving him lawn mower rides.

PM sent your way.Bought a Pro-Ject Phono Box USB pre-amp from Crutchfield, now on to digitizing some old vinyl LP's. Tried to upload a picture of it but got an error message that the file is too big for the server.

Is this attached to a cabinet or enclosure or directly to the receiver? How about a picture, I'd like to see how you used it.I bought this after my receiver started thermal shutdown last week.

I must say this, highly recommend because,
1) now all chassis parts are cool to touch
2) I can't hear it at all even in the dead of night sitting right next to me.
3) More convenience than most other plug and play fans.
Since you bought a new TV, you obviously left your old one behind. Why didn't you let your son watch that?Oh, while were here I sprung for a $230 32" Vizio smart TV as well. We left one of our cars with my son to watch.
He's got one bigger one than mine (Yeah I know that sounds weird) and also a TV in every other room. My bigun in jersey (46" Toshiba) will be going in our bedroom and our other (old) 32" Toshiba will be going in the guest bedroom. The new 32" Visio is slated for my tiny "mancave" or, more like it, a "man cubbyhole"Since you bought a new TV, you obviously left your old one behind. Why didn't you let your son watch that?
A serious answer to a sarcastic question. He's got one bigger one than mine (Yeah I know that sounds weird) and also a TV in every other room. Besides, that TV is in Joisey. he's here with us (and his wife and three grandkids) here in Texas. That's why we're moving here.![]()
