Oh, I never entertained that she would
want them.
My plan was to give them to her when she goes to college this Fall. She will accept them as a "just in case" option to help tune out noise in the dorm. Whether she ever uses them is anybody's guess.
However, because I like their sound so much, I'll give her a different pair.
If she actually starts using them,
then I will let her pick out the ones that sound best to her. I would like to share quality sound with her, but right now, she sees audio as the purview of old farts like me! She'll come around...in time. Teenagers desperately need to be their own independent self, and that is a good thing.
If she does use them, and if she selects this headphone, if I have started listening to headphones more often, and if I have determined that this one is my fave, then I will have absolutely no problem paying the ridiculous
price of $24 for a new pair. I'll look at the $14 extra it cost as paying Amazon or New Egg to store them someplace safe for me where I can readily find them when I need them.
