How old are you? Also have You lived anywhere in the States. You guy's keep talking (word salad) like it's dressing. Get to your point, other than what's been post up by others. You guys talk inflation, lol. Here's facts, Nixon took us off the gold standard in the '70s. Reagan increased the deficit four fold. Now with that little trickle down economics that came to bite every citizens butt 30 years later General Motors, Ford, Chrysler Fannie Mae, you name it damn near bankrupt all of them,that taxpayers had to bail out again how's that for a word salad. Tariffs will work. Lumber? Aluminum? from Canada? Steel from China? Outsourcing manufacturing jobs to other countries has cost this country dearly. Stay in Canada your choice. Actually how much does your health care cost? 50% of your taxes. If the Democratic party had a viable candidate to run against Trump maybe I would have vote for. We as taxpayers are tired of paying for policing the world. Time has come for those kinds, of weak countries to pay their fair share. Funny how every other country hates America until they need our military or our money but yet tariffs is an issue, come on man.

I continue to believe there isn't much of a market for conservative journalism. The right has a disdain for the sciences (including journalism) because they view them as leftist fields. I would not say 100% of them, but quite a large number. They prefer their Nat'l Inquirer-styled news over the WSJ. Part of the game plan is to replace the fake news media with fake LOL.

So, YOU'RE placing people on the Right and Left, now? You know that much? I'm right of center, but hardly as far right as you and others think I am. But that's from your collective viewpoint, so well, ya know......

My comment was a bit tongue-in-cheek. One of Trump's justifications for tariffs on Canadian imports is the smuggling of fentanyl into the US from Canada. I assume there is demand for it there.

I don't know how much Fentanyl comes in through Canada- it would seem easier to cross over the Southern border since it's not being guarded very well. Anything coming in at official checkpoints is the fault of whomever is checking, but I don't necessarily mean it as a hard "IT'S THEIR FAULT"- smugglers are very resourceful and sometimes, it just can't be detected by machine or animal. If the US doesn't have some kind of strict inspection, it's the fault of the US, as much as anyone else. Who's bringing it in via Canada, China? They're one of the main sources of several drugs.
