Had a huge head of cabbage so I ended up making (3) large foil packs. That means I will eat on this for a few days. No need to waste food inmho. Being from German heritage, I love my sausage and cabbages.

Love cabbage! umm and me living in the Deep South sausage is on the menu at least once a week red beans and sausage fried chicken go to gather like peas and carrots. Boudin Cracklin’s, crawfish pies, White beans and ham hocks. Oh let’s not forget goosenuts with fried chicken lips!!

Phil, just picking about the goosenuts and fried chicken lips. But do have some crazy cajun coonasses will eat just about anything.

Mike, glad to hear that your roast turned out well. Mine does as well. The polish sausage/cabbage foil packs are delicious. Got plenty left for supper and for lunch tomorrow. I like to cleanup as I go while cooking. Like to keep it all clean and dry. Man does it ever smell so good too! BTW, glad you like some of my music.

Naw Mike I take Nexium the purple pill (2) times every single day. It works like a charm for me. Unless, I eat something overly spicy. Got to keep the spices in check. GERD is no fun-that is for sure. Red peppers are a BIG no no for me. But, I love green peppers.

Polish sausage uhu? Can’t get that down here, we got Richard crazy Cajun sausage, Hillshire, but no real German sausage. Oh what’s a pastrami sandwich? I hear there awesome.

Not sure what a pastrami sandwich consists of. IIRC, it tastes a bit like cotto salami that I use all of the time. But, I could be wrong as my memory is not what it used to be. I love Cajun as long as it is NOT too hot. Otherwise, it would just be a trip to the ER for me. Really have to watch the hot stuff in more ways than one.....LOL!!!

Oh I like hot foods. But, lets just say it does not like me. My older brother puts hot sauce on hot sauce if you know what I mean. Me not so much. Mexican food can get quite hot, but so can the Asian Zing. That stuff goes down very mildly, then about 20-minutes later I am like WTHeck is going on. That was a total nightmare to say the least.
