Holy poop, wow, I came across this album:
This is madness, but it is a lot of fun. Great music for people who suffer from ADHD. Just lunacy. I love it! I will put this in my tracklist for when I become addicted to methamphetamines. Fabulous stuff!

SACD...mono...Prestige Records...I have most of this on mp3 as well.

SQ = 5 of 5, the mono playback is very clean, great sound stage...The drums, and surprisingly the sax comes thru stronger than the mp3.

Content..this is either a '56 or '57 recording, so it's among the earlier works with Coltrane as a band leader...ranks behind Blue Note and A Love Supreme in my collection but if you're Coltrane fan, you'll like this one..

Among some female vocals, I'm exploring the acoustic jazz genre from the 50s-60s a lot, but I'm a Larry Carlton fan, so I will check that out and will put Villegas in my discovery file.
