You will need a short y-splitter with one female end to 2 male ends plug them into the left and right input on the sub but I’d still up the subs gain first then rerun the calibration .

Then I think you're just seeing variances with the mic placement/software. DCAC may not be doing you any favors....but try upping the gain on the sub to push it further into the negative range in any case.

The mic placement was exactly the same the 4 times, I think upping the gain and recalibrating won't do anything because the calibration results keep being inconsistent, any other suggestions?

Oops, sorry meant DCAC, Sony's acronym for their "Digital Cinema Auto Calibration" (was partially thinking Pioneer's MCACC I guess ) The manual is just guessing at a median point for setting gain on the sub as it hasn't got much to go on....a guess.
