In fact, in most cases, the THX modes will roll off treble at reasonable levels. IMO, the only time THX modes are handy are in reference levels.

Of course, the untouchable track is still Blackhawk Down on Blu-ray. That PCM track is mixed so hot and the speakers are so active that you forget you're in your living room.

Oh really! Perfect. Because in that review above it says you can't. My Canara 4S11 wires are all terminated with bananas so that's pretty important. Also, I noticed someone had an all black A500, with black volume knobs. Is there a particular retailer that sells them?

oooo crap... Certainly don't want that. I liked the idea of the signal sensing auto on, and it seems to have good power in bridged mode if I wanted to run my fronts.
