Hope you guys said a prayer for our miners. Will post a pic later of the memorial tonight.

Thats pretty tough, man. I saw your photos in the "cool photos thread". Thanks for posting.. Thoughts and prayers with those families for sure.

Time to put together the new patio table. Then go to Lowes and buy grass seed so I can spread that around today. I need a truck load of topsoil but that's not happening today... Little League game at 3 (Go Bulls!) and then dinner at Texas Roadhouse. I need to buy a TV and stand for the family room....still...and I'd like to get rid of the 2000 Alero and get something more fun to drive.

Maybe I'll just get steaks for the grill and drink instead.;)

...after the boys baseball game of course.

Man, turtles have the life. They spend all their lives swimming and sunning on the beach. Then they give it to some female turtle and swim off to Japan or some other far away place, leaving her to deal with the eggs and all that stuff. Then they come back and hang out on the beach some more and do it all again. What a life.

Yesterday I carried some plastic boxes, and coudln't see whare I was walking

So I went straihgt into a shelf with so big force that I seriously hort myself... right foot, can hardly walk now

I suggest you pan sear some ribeye. Get a cast iron skillet and put it in the oven turn the oven to 500 degrees. t give it 20 minutes and you'll be ready to pan sear. You put the skillet on the stove on high heat and cook the steak on each side till you get a nice crust(1 to 2 minutes). Then back into the oven for 3 minutes on each side. Once done it will melt all the fat and leave you a very tender steak.

Trying to find FastStone Capture 5.3 for my laptop. It's the last version that was freeware and not shareware.

It started innocently enough. I went to my son's fiancé's parent's house for dinner, ostensibly to plan their stag and doe. That went fine. The whole wedding party showed up and the planning was all done. Dinner was awesome, pulled pork which some of you may remember is one of my favorites. I drank a whole bottle of wine by myself, which was fine. I didn't lose my composure at the future in-laws. After that event, my kid and his friends invited me to go to a club with them. Turns out, that was a strip club and they brought all their girlfriends and my future daughter-in-law. Also attending was one of my daughter's former girlfriends from when she was in high school. My wife passed on the club adventure and left me on my own. That's all...the whole story and now I'm sitting here drunk posting in the boring thread because that's it, that's all. The dancers were just okay but not hot enough for me to give them money for table dances or anything.

Thanks to spell check for giving me the squiggly lines to keep my drunk posting intelligible.

Yeah it hit a little harder for me and the office because one of those miners that passed away used to work in the office(jason adkins was his name) and i worked with his brother chris for a few years in my section. They both left the office for the coal mines, jason undergroud and chris topside.

I remember going to hooters with a co-workers and meating him there a few times a couple of years ago.
