Frankly you didn't list any real beers up there.

My favorite brews are Belgian Trappists. These are the true Rolls Royce's of ales.

I prefer Chimay (Grande Reserve, Première and Cing Cent in that order) or Rochefort.
I listed Generic brews. Had I known everyone bought brews from Europe(though I should have expected this as American Beer = Horse piss) I would have changed the options somewhat. I did put the "OTHER" choice there as well.

I think All Candians can agree, that Kokanee and Sleemans are some fines brews. Give them a try.

BTW, drinking age is 19. For My 19th B-day I will order an Audoholics Beer mug :)

Belgian Trappist ales are still brewed by monks. There are only 6 monasteries left that still have breweries. These are the finest ales in the world. They are not cheap, though. About $9.00 to $10.00 U.S. for a 750 mL bottle.

When I run dry of Chimay (I have to order it by the case) I usually resort to Red Hook ESB.

I used to drink Molson Golden many years ago if that make you happy Sheep.

I find molson a little to rough for me. Every beer goes down easy after 2. The key is finding one that goes down esy the first time.

Yeah, I'm sure we ALL wondered that......:D What's the drinking age up there?

Yeah, we should probably have started a wine thread...but there would probably only be 4 people in that one...:)

Make that five people..........:D

I vote for a good Willamette Valley Pinot Noir. The weather should be nice this year in Oregon.

Whites: very few :D Certain really good Chardonnays, Viognier (vee-on-yay), and the occasional dessert wines (mmm...Icewine).

Reds: I love a good Pinot (Concannon, Madonna Estate), but Cabs (Madonna Estate, Artesa, Joseph Phelps, Cooper-Garrod, etc...) and good hearty Zins are my favorites (Ravenswood vineyard designates, Peju, etc...). Mostly smaller, local type places that most people never heard of.

The weather's been nice and the hills are green; it's just about time to take a nice drive up to Napa.....
See, this is what I'm talking about. ;)

To quote myself

I won't go into the Beligans I drink but I loves me some Tripples and Dubbels.
Westmalle Trappist Dubbel is one of my favorites. Some of the American Belgians can be good like Allagash and Ommegang
I am heading to Amsterdam and Belgium next month and I can't wait for the beer...
Also you people drink really bad beer. You talk crap about bose and then crack open a crap a$$ rice lager?

Did I not state that I drink Belgian Trappist ales?

The cheapest beer allowed in my house is Stella Artois and that's only when I can't get anything else. I would rather open a bottle cheap California wine than most American beers.

Chimay in the large bottles with the wired on cork top is my preferrence. I like the blue better than the red. Chimay drinkers know about the blue and red. By the way, it's even better on tap. Here in Phila. there are two bars that I know of that have it on tap. I really don't understand what people see/taste in light beers. They remind me of a comment Kirk Douglas made in a movie "tastes watery to me"

Used to be a Samuel Adams or regular Bud guy.

Switched to Mich Ultra and now Bud Select. I've lost 26 lbs. and 3½" off the waist line. Went from size 36 jeans to 32-33. Yeah, the flavor (or lack thereof) takes getting used to, but as Archie Bunker said "You can only rent beer"!

A proper diet and daily exercise can do the same thing, and this way, you won't have to drink piss! :)
