Your favorite Brew?

Hey there,

As I sit here, drinking one of my favorite brews (Kokanee) I was wondering to myself, "I wonder what the other Audioholics like to drink".

So here it is, A poll thread (my first). If your brew is not up there, Select the other function and tells us about it! And if your choice is here, tell us why you like it!

i don't drink (alcohol) anymore. i don't smoke anymore.
i feel i've had enough for a lifetime already.

but it used to be: Mule, Colt 45, Subzero among others.

now, I don't even drink anything BUT water.

I can't stand beer!

Actually, I don't really like alcohol at all, but being plastered is fun! So I find the hardest stuff I can get and have that. That way, I get drunker quicker, and I don't have to break the seal early in the night!

Well the beer down there is basically water anyway right....

I can't stand hard liquor. Literally, I gag.

Yup, it tastes/looks like piss, and it doesn't get you drunk, so I don't see the point!

I don't like hard liquor either, but it does the job, so I take what I can get!

Franzkaner is my favorite along with Guiness.

Franzkaner is a Belgium Heffweizen with a grat flavor and not as heavy as some of the other out there. Pyramid being one.

Guiness needs no explanation. It tastes great and will cure an upset stomach really well. It's almost like food in a way.

I usually drink Guiness alot more in the winter when it's cold. The Franzkaner is great during Spring and Summer. Now if it's hot as hell I will go with Coors Light. Sounds crazy but it's crisp and light with a nice flavor. Goes really well with chili.

I also like sippin on whiskey.

I like too many!

Some of my favorites are...Labatts Blue, Molson (most of them), St. Pauli Girl, Grolsch lager and amber, Bass, Stella Artois, Moosehead, Yuengling Lager, New Castle Brown Ale...

I also like the hard stuff...Jack Daniels, Kettel One vodka, Sambuca...

No I am not an alcoholic! (I hope that wasn't denial)

I just like variety. I'm a moody person both bad and good and my tastes vary on my mood and time of year.

I rarely drink but whenever my sister-in-law comes down to visit she brings some of there home-brewed stuff.......absoultely the best.

Otherwise it's a Corona every once in awhile with dinner.

I like Sierra Nevada Oatmeal Stout, and their IPA. I also like Anchor Steams Foghorn.

And, no bear in the world IMO can come close to Sam Adams Triple Bock

One of my favourites is Budweiser. That is, real Budweiser (the stuff from the Czech town of Budejovicky Budvar), not the horse p!ss sold in the US...

Other Czech brews are good too - Staropramen is particularly good. As is Staropramen Cerny (dark).

I say beers of course, they're actually lagers.

If you're after proper beer (ale) then go for Fuller's ESB, Wadworth 6X or Greene King's "Abbots Ale".

Bear Republic Stout
Victory HopDevil(yes its hoptastic)
Harpoon IPA(local favorite)

I won't go into the Beligans I drink but I loves me some Tripples and Dubbels.
Westmalle Trappist Dubbel is one of my favorites. Some of the American Belgians can be good like Allagash and Ommegang
I am heading to Amsterdam and Belgium next month and I can't wait for the beer...

What, when, where...

For a day out on the boat, Bud Light all day.
Watching a good soccer match, a cold John Courage.
After a nice dinner, a Glenlivet 18 neat with a Romeo y Julieta.

I also like aged rums a lot; I drink them like a single malt.
Angostura 1919 and El Dorado 15 are some of my favorites.

Magic Hat #9 is a pretty good Microbrew. I like to drink that when i am up on the Cape durring the summer.

George Killians Irish Red.

Negra Modelo.

For party all day in the sun, there's only one:

Corona Extra.

I forgot Pacifico. Hard to find here, but 'tis a fine beer.

IMO, Miller Light over Bud Light. Michelob Light tops both.
