I had RBH sound upgrade the driver's in my T1 and T2 to the reference level drivers and new crossovers.

They sound amazing. Question for the group. I had it set up as a 7.3 system. Would it make sense to upgrade the surround speakers to reference as well (roughly $150 per surround) and maybe make the system 5.3 and have the back speakers become height speakers.

I'm probably going to grab this along with the DSOTM version.

How was the mix?
The mix is a bit subdued vs. DSoTM. It is spacious, but more ambient than movement. It does sound very good though. The more interesting thing is the bonus tracks, which I spent a lot of time on. There's demos, a few acoustics, and alternate recordings. They are all worth a listen for sure.

65" TCL QM8K on BF sale... just dropped off on the porch and safely tucked away inside. :)
You are really going to ENJOY the QM8K . I have the 2024 model 55QM7. Even black and white movies are great. Netflix Dolby Vison movies are out of this world. Enjoy your new TCL. I had mine delivered by BB, Sept 2024. My wife has her own TCL. No conflict of interest.....lol

We had a new Maytag, 7 cu ft, gas dryer installed yesterday. We have a Maytag Impeller washing machine, that is 8 years old. Our previous GE gas dryer was only 3 years old....big mistake. Sounded like a bearing was going bad with so much noise. Not wanting to wait for repair and costs.

I've long wondered why so many who buy the Isoacoustics Gaia isolation feet for their speakers, which in most cases should have decent high-quality inert cabinets, say that it "tightens up the bass" and other dubious claims.

Now I get to experience the possible psychoacoustic properties or actual improvement with the Gaia II, with my own speakers. I am waiting for the mating carpet spike pads to come in before I can fit them to my speakers, but it'll be soon enough. I got them used, for a killer price that made it acceptable to me for the experiment, and I can resell for what I paid if I find no real benefit.
