Yamaha, just because they've never let me down. But I'd be delighted to try marantz!

I would have to say marantz and Denon, I bought a pioneer elite over the marantz and Denon around 3 years ago due to price but regret it. Listening to the marantz and Denon the music felt more alive the pioneer just kinda falls flat, and being that the pioneer is a 7.1 I'm ready for an upgrade so I can add in ceiling speakers.

Denon, because its the best I've used till this day, but am hopeful to test out Marantz.

Own a Denon (6400), Marantz (7002), and Yamaha (1400). Previously owned Sony and tested Pioneer (among many, many others). Still a long list of gear I'd love to try out. Tried and try out of the bunch, despite Denon (sister brand) being my current primary receiver, I'd go with:

Onkyo is the best that I’ve had so far but heard Marantz is great

Sony... Chromecast built in is the best, and comparability/communication with Sony tv. Btw, Sony is the only panel to own!

Denon and Marantz. Because they use Odyssey, the best acoustic room correction program there is.

A. Denon. I really like Audyssey MultEQ and Dynamic EQ. Not to mention Denon's QC has been really good in my experience. I have never owned a Marantz product, simply because they are priced higher for the same feature set as their Denon equivalents.

Have had Pioneer and Harman Kardon pre-HDMI days. Currently have a Yamaha big box store special. Would love to get into a Marantz.

Marantz. One of the few brands that still has front pre-amp outs on the lower model lines.

Denon is my favorite brand for amps simply because they provide the best sound and feature set for my budget, however owning a Marantz is my dream!

I currently use a SR5011 Marantz. I've had it for nearly 3 years and love it. It sounds so good and works perfectly.
Previously I've owned Pioneer Elite, Yamaha RX and Sony...all of which are also fine avr's and are still working to this day...nearly 20 years for the Sony...in the homes of my son, daughter and her husband.

For me it's Marantz. The sound is wide open and the design is beautiful.

At this point Denon. Use to be only Sony ES but the feature set in the Denon caused me to go Denon with my last system upgrade. It (Denon) does seem to lack the "punch" my previous Sony ES's have had so I ended up adding an external Amp.

I prefer Marantz because of their looks and features but previously in life I almost exclusively bought Onkyo because of their price relative to features.

Have been a Marantz fan for 40 years. Love the design, but most important, the quality. It's also highly recommended at my local audiophile store.

MARANTZ. An upstanding sophisticated brand. I started with the SR-7010 9.2 channel Receiver in combination with the MM7025 2 channel power amp., upgraded to the SR8012 11.2 channel Receiver. All with a bold look and art deco design with a clear crisp superior sound. Additionally, own the NR1605 and NR1608. Had Yamaha, Kenwood, Sony before, but nothing compare the MARANTZ line.
