Good point.
Thinking about it, you can consider the English civil war, French Revolution, Russian Revolution, US Revolution (war of independence)... violence and enormous bloodletting seem par for the course - where the social / societal revolution in the USA in the early 20th century was relatively peaceful (relatively!).
Sadly I don't get a "bloodless" vibe about things today - if things swing in that direction, it could get very nasty very quickly.
