The short answer to your question is NO.. Just stick with the RCA cables, and don't pay crazy money for them. A cable is a cable is a cable.And so my next decision is, would Balanced XLR cables between the two NAD's make a difference vs quality RCA cables
Originally XLR connections for audio was designed for a link between the Pre-amp and the Power amp, where the Power amp was located
close to the speakers and a distance from the pre-amp. Unless your doing that there is little justification in the added cost of XLR cables
