hopefully BJC has shown to be consistently honest?
When I've ordered there is a Fluke certification report included.
Right, it's like a report card showing graph like results.

Our internet was slow in our condo and SWMBO needed as good a connection as possible for a work from home deal during CoViD. I spent the extra for BJC before BSA talked me into saving my money in the future but my confidence in pretty much anything BJC is high. Plus their articles on various cable topics make getting past BS marketing claims easier on my wallet.

Seriously, I have no life.

Panduit and Tripp-lite handle it a bit differently. They guarantee their cables will pass spec and replace it if they don't.
Have you seen cable (bulk) fail? What do you buy, pre-made or boxes/rolls? Do you strip off some of the end at the start of a roll or box? I just had a pre-made cable fail- not sure why, since it has absolutely no signs of damage.

Been at this 30 years. So I've seen about 95% of what is out there to be seen.

When I was doing work for a hospital system they had two LV companies. One I would have to go into the switch after installation and things had been running for a week and look for CRC/FCS errors and have them go out and replace the crap, no name, patch they were installing.

The other outfit was a bit more expensive in the few % points, but they used Panduit 28AWG (thin) patch and never had a problem.

I don't do layer 1 stuff. I just call our low voltage people in and they run and certify. In a pinch I have termination tools.

Again, the article from Blue Jeans was about meeting specifications—not failing. I am just an individual customer. I do not buy bulk rolls or know who is honest when producing bulk rolls. I just appreciate Blue Jeans because they test/verify—with a certificate of testing—the few network cables I buy.

Then again bulk rolls or are talking about finished/assembled cables?
