Hi guys! I'm back on AH after a short break. I've been doing much better, just resting, running, and playing with my guitar and reel to reel. I'm opening up a mobile recording studio based out of an old Silver Streak camper that I can carry around with me and record sound for bands in bars and not actually have to be in the bar. I'll be resting in my control booth of my studio mixing and mastering.

I'll also use it to record studio sessions for bands I have on my small independent record label.

I can't remember have you told us which speakers do you use in your system? I know you have R2R, but what do you use for some serious "noise"?

I use JBL LSR 305 monitors in my camper studio, and Epos ELS-3 as my home stereo speakers.

I'm not trying to create or stir a pot on the op's post but I've chatted with you for awhile afterlife2 on a lottof subjects and know you to be a positive kind person who always tries to help like drunkpenguin stated I don't believe you or anybody else deserves to be spoken to harshly for trying to be helpful. My mother and her husband have a recording studio in their home. I'm not sure if theyve ever recorded anything. He's actually really good on guitar. I hate to admit it because we don't get along very well, but he's talented.

It's going pretty well. Just now paid for the camper. Should be picking it up very soon. It's a 33 footer.

Doing great bro really good to hear from you and hear your well. I'm just chilling at work making a food run for everybody. Just got my SVS PB 4000 put in this weekend and dialed in that was a lotta fun. So how's the studio thing coming along?

Yes, I'm the "label." I market their music and sell it and get a big portion of the royalties. I can carry the camper around and record them at their house, and still get amazing sound. I made my own reverb unit by stretching a piece of aluminum foil with two very tight springs, and ran stereo RCA inputs and outputs into it, and got a very natural reverb sound.

That's very good news! Keep up on what you have been doing lately. Your home theatre project is a good way to keep you focused on the future benefits of having it completed and eventually enjoying it to its full potential with the music you love etc.
