Click to expand... i think so too ... it might not yet be the time for me. a 50" i would have no qualms putting on the shelf. wall mounting it but keeping the stand would mean i'm looking up at the plasma. oh well. i guess i'll wait til the next opportunity presents itself

Regarding your poll thread about the larger TV I think how much time you spend watching TV from bed needs to be considered. For me the TV in the bedroom get's turned on when I'm ready to go to sleep and I set the sleep timer for 30 minutes most of the time and I'm usually asleep within 15. As such I'm not interested in putting any more effort/money into upgrading it. YMMV.

Click to expand... i never figured how to use the sleep function if i were mostly watching from the bed, a gigantic tv would be needed, but i placed a couch in front of the bed, which is only about 60" away from the current display.
