Gotta be really really honest.... I don't love it. Its just ok. I wish I had gotten the oatmeal stout...

This one is just a hair too rich for my tastes. I'd imagine It would be a pretty decent dinner beer given the right meal, but I don't dig it just to sit and drink it. Opening a land shark...

I need to do some online research of mixing cognac with stuff. I have two bottles of it, and I hate the stuff (somebody gave them to me). I'm almost done with my one and only beer left in the house. I would have stopped at the store on the way back from the park, but I'd have felt too selfish making Niki wait longer to get home when she was tired and thirsty.

Coconut milk. Personally I have not ever tried it and I probably wouldn't associate with people who do but there it is. I loved cognac with a nice cigar.

I think you should make a gift of it to somebody who is a complete drunk.

Thanks. I don't have any coconut milk, but I did find a site that mentioned orange juice. I was hoping to see that, as that's the only thing other than milk that I have around. However, it did mention that the French often mix V.S. cognac with other liquids in tall glasses with ice, but that they don't mix older V.S.O.P. or X.O. cognacs. All I have are the last two. I did learn (or relearn) about the ages tonight, though. The only one that I tried with the older X.O., and it's way to strong for my taste. The V.S.O.P. might be better. Although, I guess that it's been aging in my pantry for seven and a half years now. Hmmm.

It doesn't work like that for booze. Wine 'ages' in a bottle but not hard liquor. What brand of VSOP and XO do you have?
