Curious to know if any of the forum members have attended the recent AXPONA & SOCAL shows?

Would love to hear your feedback!

Had an excellent (but crude due to equipment shipping delays) demonstration of this FLOOR / WALL MOUNTABLE DOLBY ATMOS 5.2.4 ALL ELECTROSTATIC speaker system with 2 of the TEKTON DESIGN LINE ARRAY subwoofers @ THE SHOW 2024 in SOCAL, June 7-9th 2024!

The system was shown with the ATMOS speakers on stands (as the hotel venue rules prohibit wall mounting) and TEKTON DESIGN LINE ARRAY subwoofers.

4 (2 PAIRS) OF THE MODEL 3 ESL PANELS COMBINED WITH THE MODEL 3 ESL CENTER CHANNEL SPEAKER AND 4 (2 PAIRS) OF THE MODEL 1 ESL DOLBY ATMOS HEIGHT SPEAKER PANELS ARE USED TO CREATE THIS WORLD CLASS MULTICHANNEL SYSTEM OF THE HIGHEST CALIBER AND RESOLUTION!

The system has a cohesiveness combined with ultra high resolution offered only by the finest electrostatic speaker technologies that does full justice to HIGH RES IMMERSIVE MULTICHANNEL AUDIO music and movies.

The inner detail from music and movies that other speakers gloss over are rendered with focus and precision with these stats!

Would be fun to listen to. But I’d burn those tekton subs to the ground before I’d listen to them. Then I’d ship the ashes to Eric’s front step.

Even though this post looks like promotional spam, I will reply to it anyway. The way those ESL height speakers are set up is all wrong. I doubt listener heard a thing from them. Speakers like that beam fiercely on the vertical axis, so all the sound was going over anyone's head who was seated. ESLs need to face the listener more than conventional speakers, especially on the vertical axis. That setup would have me worried about the people who put it together; do they have an understanding of their products at all?

Does anyone else make an electrostatic centre? Can an ESL work ok in that orientation?

It would be difficult. Maybe doable for a single listening position, but not for a wide seating area.

Thank you for your feedback, shadyJ!

As the US distributor of Finals, I am extremely curious to know how many of the die hard AV enthusiasts on this forum made it to the Audiophile centric shows like AXPONA and THE SOCAL SHOW!
How many of the audiophiles are AV enthusiasts and vice versa?
No spam intended ofcourse, just bringing awareness as FINAL starts demonstrating across the country at different audio shows including the AV centric CEDIA with our ground breaking ALL ELECTROSTATIC CENTER CHANNEL & ATMOS HEIGHT SPEAKERS!

Valid comments on the orientation of the height speakers in the pics,
As mentioned in my post, we had a crude, haphazard installation in Final's Multichannel / second room at THE SHOW, thanks to shipping and customs delays.

Rest assured that the speakers were positioned at a 30 - 45 degree tilt angle with the adjustable stands for the DEMO to make them most immersive with direct and reflected sound.

Most importantly, Finals have a wider dispersion pattern than competing ESLs with our unique segmented panel sections dividing the radiation of mid and high level frequencies to avoid beaming for a wide sweetspot!

Hope you could all join us at the next audiophile show, if not at the CEDIA in September, LINK below,

To the best of my 30+ year planar and electrostatic audiophile experience, FINAL is the only game in town offering an ALL ELECTROSTATIC design (no hybrid woofer or AMT drivers) for both CENTER as well as DOLBY ATMOS HEIGHT speakers!

Being 4 ft wide also helps!;)

Better images to follow!

Really if your interested in Electrostatic's There is only one brand to consider , Clarisy are sweeping everything else away. These ESL's are made in Switzerland. At the present time there are 4 models available. Main American agent is Suncoast Audio

Please note I have no connection with Clarisy or Suncoast
Clarisys offers magentostatic ribbon speakers that use planar magnetic technology and are fundamentally different from Electrostatic technology based FINALs.

I would consider using different subwoofers to be associated with. Eric Alexander is a total piece of shitt and should be removed from any and all audio circles and sales avenues.
