Speakers

I would like to see a free standing front pair for a theatre surround system that would be a good compliment to a subwoofer (IE - designed for high and mid)

I would like too see some affordable, good quality in-ceiling speakers. Built-in enclosures would be preferred since these are extremely hard to find.

Computer

Package for computers. X-Sub with sat/mini bookshelf for the gamers and for people that just don't have the space for large bookshelfs. This group also tends to watch DVDs on their computer as well.

I'd like to see a 5.1 receiver with HDMI and computer connections, multiple rooms setup will be nice.

I'm in the market for a DVD player, and would love to see a universal player with HDMI and component outs that don't favor one over the other (in terms of signal processing).

I would like to see a setup for my PC. A great 5.1 or better 7.1 system consisting for small 2 way satellites and a thumping subwoofer with a 12 inch and have it come in at an affordable price! The reason is that much of my music collection is on my hard drive. I like to listen to my music when I work, so why should I have to listen through the little tinny speakers that came with my computer?

Q. What product/type of product would you like AV123 to bring to the market next and why?

A. 15" and 18" subwoofer choices .... 10" and 12" subwoofers are okay but it takes something bigger to truly give a home theater the true theater experience.

Put me down for a <20Hz sub. Nothing like feeing bass in your chest, instead of just in your backside (sitting on the couch)! Let the neighbours think your house just collapsed!

I would like to see a new redesign RS-150. These IMO are your signature speakers and I think the market will still love to have these.

Maybe called RS-160?

Acoustical treatments that meet the WAF. At least to cover the 1st order reflections and main issues. I'm not looking for audio perfection - just something to help out the room sound better, but not cause my wife to kill me.

Contest Question: What product/type of product would you like AV123 to bring to the m

I'd have to say that I'd like to see an affordable X-series integrated amp. One that maybe is powered by one of the new digital switching chips - like Tripath, Icepower, or Nuforce. I'd like to see a digital audio input on it, as well as stereo sub out with bass management. A 2.2 amp would be great!

I believe they are already coming out with something like that... It was in one of the threads here about the X-LS.

I'd like to see a replacement for the R-DES :) (IIRC, they are working on that too...)

I would like to see an in-wall subwoofer that is of some sort of reasonable price and includes or makes available a specific amplifier that goes along with it.

Heck a few models with different price points and features. With the family room and bedrooms becoming more and more home theater centric it is tough to find in-wall subs that perform well and give you good sound on a decent budget.

Forget $1,000+ for an in-wall sub... and very little information. How about a sub $500.00 model with an amp and some good photos and info to back it up!?! That's a product I could definitely use.

I'd like to see some larger X-series offerings. I like the look and price point of the X-sub, but think 10, 12, and maybe 15" (OK, 15" may be asking too much ;) ) at the same sub-Rocket price (and the more appealing X vs. Rocket appearance) would definealty have me considering an X-sub for my next sub purchase!

I would like to see a no frills series of low cost (realatively speaking) seperates to introduce the younger generation (and newbie's) to something other than HT receivers.

A sub that can dig in the 20 Hz and below w/authority.

I agree with everyone longing for the 20hz and under sub at X-line prices. I'd also love to see an X-line surround sound processor and/or receiver.

I would like to see the X-LS and X-sub with a cherry finish. That is basically the only think holding me back from getting a set for my Zone2/3 rooms.
