I never played the games, but knew this was coming. I have no idea what happens after this, but can kind of guess a revenge tour is going to be happening. Though, I still don't know what they're going to do for 2 more seasons? There are only two games, how much more can they do? Or will the following seasons just include small things from the games and the writers thought up new ideas?
This season I think only goes up to the next phase, which is Seattle. The majority of the story happens is in Seattle, but the game concludes with a phase in Santa Barbara. I am guessing SB will be in the next season. The long "coming this season" bit at the end of the first episode seems to only show events in Seattle. S2E2 changes things up significantly from the game, but the important points and the end result are the same. The scene where "it" happens has slightly changed characters, but the events of it are nearly identical to the game.
The game plays out differently, in that you spend time with the current events while you get to know your character and the events of the current story, then aspects are revealed through flashbacks. Neil Druckman in an interview said why they happen in a more linear sequence mostly in the show: you are not as "connected" to the main characters when watching vs. playing because you don't have the same "survival" mechanism where you are invested in your character making it through. Druckman has indicated he wants to do more with the show than what is in the games.
A third game has been teased, but nothing concrete and no timeline. If it is coming, it has to come in the next year or so. On completion of the second game, the main story arc is fairly well wrapped up, but enough open questions that there can be more to it.
