What if teams were charged 1 point each time they punt the ball? We'd see more teams going for it on 4th down. More teams would go for long field goals instead of opting to pin a team deep. More points would be scored (and deducted) adding up to more excitement.

Peyton is about as good of a spokesman for the game as you can get, always squeaky clean, great work ethic and charitable. I was hoping to see the team that Farve blew off, beat the team he switched too. Not gonna happen though. Eli seems like a nice guy. Not sure what his problem was with SD. I know he took flack for his approach, but the guy plays for the love of the game. There are a lot of guys like that. I can't imagine switching careers after 40 to something I didn't always want to be.
