It's the NFLs fault not the refs. The Refs are being yelled at to protect the QB at all costs. I really just want a consistent call. Give a certain time limit or something. Click to expand... Very much so. There needs to be some consistency regarding such officiating. Until then, things will remain inconsistently unfair. Cheers, Phil

gmichael Audioholic Spartan Jan 27, 2010 #1,385 I had an idea this morning and I want to get it out there before it dies of loneliness. What if teams were charged 1 point each time they punt the ball? We'd see more teams going for it on 4th down. More teams would go for long field goals instead of opting to pin a team deep. More points would be scored (and deducted) adding up to more excitement.

Growing and watching his dad Archie struggle to win games makes it hard not to cheer for the kids. Peyton is about as good of a spokesman for the game as you can get, always squeaky clean, great work ethic and charitable. On a side note enjoy that weasel Kiffin down there in SOCAL I hope he ruins that program.

I think it would be poetic justice to see the team that Archie never got to a Super Bowl with stomp his son into the turf.

I was hoping to see the team that Farve blew off, beat the team he switched too. Not gonna happen though. Eli seems like a nice guy. Not sure what his problem was with SD. Maybe he was afraid that it would take too long to rebuild that team. He was wrong. Either way, we're both happy with how it turned out.

I think Favre wanted to play, but also wanted to get out of Rodgers way. I know he took flack for his approach, but the guy plays for the love of the game. There are a lot of guys like that. I can't imagine switching careers after 40 to something I didn't always want to be.

sawzalot Audioholic Samurai Feb 2, 2010 #1,400 I watched it and all I can say, or ask is WTF is Donovan doing, he still looks like he is in Dallass trying to complete a pass. I'd rather bring back Ron Jaworski than put up with D McNever and his antics, good grief.
