If I am looking for a particular CD by a particular artist, I only occasionally find more than one version to choose from. When there is more than one version, I usually go for the most recent remaster. (I will sometimes go for an earlier remaster if it was overseen by someone involved with the...

I think I might know one person who does have one, but I would have to ask her to be sure. Besides, I was not referring to "those who have computers" or "those who would download", I was referring to all Radiohead fans.

If things work out that way, good. It seems more likely that a lot of great albums will be released online-only and not available to buy on CD.

I think he is looking for a test that will actually produce results.:) I like the compressed vs uncompressed concept, but where do you get both in the same format? (Comparison using two formats fails to isolate compression as the variable.)

I never thought that Sherwood's entry level products were worthless. They are OK for the price, but not what I would choose if I planned to spend more.

I have their greatest hits CD. I still occasionally enjoy listening to it.

It is their music that sounds similar to me (except that Tool sounds better.) I cannot compare their lyrics (except on paper) because I cannot make out either band's lyrics. Tool and TMV (along with King Crimson, NIN, et al.) fall in the category of prog metal.
