Everyone has this the wrong way round. It is those voting for Trump that are the RINOS, they are not Republicans but fascists. It is those like me that will vote Harris that are the true Republicans, and will be the ones to clear up the inevitable mess.
Not to give Trump too much credit LOL, but I've never seen the huge fascism in Trump like other leaders around the globe in history. Like if you are talking about attempting to steal the election than yeah. But that's one thing. Maybe that's a huge enough example for you to consider him a fascist. Overall though I just thought it was because he's an a$$hole, and people are tired of his BS.

Maybe Trump's business ties with Russia. He's certainly had some bizarre appreciation for Jung and Putin as leaders of power, but does that translate over here in America? Checks & balances in the way of that. Trump has said he'd like to kick Jack Smith outta the country.

The LOL one I like to repeat is after the Kyle Rittenhouse case, you can see him and Trump with a Kim Jung picture behind them on the wall of the WH.:D

The fascistic tendency in Trump is there alright. He maybe too dumb and old to channel it into a viable force but MAGA, Proud Boys and White Nationalists are willing.

Maybe people don't realise what fascism is until jackboots start marching into their homes?

Agreed and I'm starting to think this clown is going to win. If not, he will take power by any means necessary. Republicans be careful what you wish for.
I wonder who they would blame if he doesn't turn out as they thought he would be.

1. He'll do anything to win
2. You must fight for recognition
3. Fight till the death
4. People want to be sold a fantasy
5. Glam is the greatest distraction

Those were the five beliefs highlighted on Trump. I've often wondered....

-Thrives on chaos
-Worldview of "winners" and "losers"

The 70s discrimination case against black/hispanic residents comes through in some of his comments today.

Bone spurs.

Loathes being viewed as a "loser" hence 60+ court cases over the '20 election.

The mess will take more than one term to clean up. What we need to ask now: "What happens in four years and how can we stop this from happening again?".

If the RNC doesn't yank their heads out now, we're in trouble- this can't become a one party nation.

Returning to the video in Trell's post, Charlie Sykes started as a Democrat, but he wasn't hard Left- he graduated high school three years ahead of me and I had a history class down the hall from the lecture hall used for the class he was taking in that wing of the school. He would get into shouting matches with his teacher, who ended up being a Democrat WI state representative, because he disagreed so strongly. Then, he became a republican and in the link below, makes comments about supporting Biden and Harris, even though he doesn't agree with all of their ideas.

This makes me remember an op-ed column in The Washington Post from years ago. I believe (but am not certain) it was written by Kathleen Parker, and it may have appeared as far back as 2012 – when the GOP was so surprised by Romney's loss to Obama. The campaign's own polls had shown them easily winning. The GOP tried to investigate just what went wrong. Parker, a self-described "mostly right-of-center" & a "conservative leaning columnist", wrote about that. She has long been a Never Trumper, aka RINO.

Most of her column concerned the GOP's surprise after their 2012 election loss. She agreed with most of their conclusions, adding that the GOP had to abandon the far right and return to the political center, or die as a political party. At the end of her column she wrote this frightening prediction, that she didn't expect to see this happen anytime soon.

2012 was 12 years ago!

Never Trumpers are RINO's? Seems to me NTs have conservative principles but would never vote for the a$$hole. NTs can be Republican alumnists. I see that kind of being Trump supporters accusing NTs of being RINOs cause they don't toetheline.
