Dr. Fauci is what now? o_O

It's not so much that Malone says things that we disagree with - it's that he's said things that are demonstrably false.
Robert W. Malone - Wikipedia
You might not be aware of the Media diefied St. Fauci's history.

He later changed his mind in 1989 and did much good for the community afterwards but he was wrong about using Bactrim in 1987. That's two years of lives lost or at least prolonged a bit. He better pray to god that the ongoing studies on ivermectin do not show he was wrong again. Some people will want to have a word with him.

Yesterdays data released by John Hopkins on Lockdowns is another rather large chink in his armour.

Everyone is flawed. Calling him tremendously flawed might be an understatement.
History will be the ultimate judge.

Anthony Fauci - Wikipedia
Leading AIDS activist Larry Kramer attacked Fauci relentlessly in the media.[29] He called him an "incompetent idiot" and a "pill-pushing" tool of the medical establishment. Fauci did not have control over drug approval though many people felt he was not doing enough. Fauci did make an effort in the late 1980s to reach out to the LGBTQ+ community in New York and San Francisco to find ways he and the NIAID could find a solution.[27] Though Fauci was initially admonished for his treatment of the AIDS epidemic, his work in the community was eventually acknowledged. Kramer, who had spent years hating Fauci for his treatment of the HIV/AIDS epidemic, eventually called him "the only true and great hero" among government officials during the AIDS crisis.[30][27]
Do you think that all research begins and ends in the US and Fauci is the arbiter of all COVID research and policies? No studies from other countries have offered solid evidence of the efficacy of ivermectin in treating COVID. If further properly conducted studies indicate that there is some benefit, so be it. But, right now, there aren't any. That's why it isn't approved for this purpose.

To suggest "Calling him tremendously flawed might be an understatement." is utterly laughable.

Hey, believe what you want to. Laughing can be healthy and boost your immune system.
I guess I should laugh at you throwing a Wikipedia link at me. Its a fact that Wiki is not a reliable source for a school kid to use, why would anyone advocate its use for adults?

By the way, I did read the original articles for both footnotes to that Wiki paragraph, 30 and 27,
NPR and The New Yorker magazine. I am laughing if you think they are not biased news entities.

Don't you want to comment on Huffpost article at all? The Huffpost was reliably Left wing in 2017 and it was credible enough for them to publish.....

The author of the HuffPost piece is critical of Fauci for not doing something...
neither within my purview nor within the responsibility or authority I have to issue guidelines.
You're trying to spin a speeding ticket into vehicular manslaughter, when It isn't even clear that he was speeding.

And, you're OK with the Huffpost piece, because it supports your assessment of Fauci, yet NPR and The New Yorker are biased? I wasn't going to comment on it, because it looks like an axe-grinding agenda.

Wikipedia has an entry on its own reliability, stating that it isn't always completely correct and the reasons why. Would you say that this entry is unreliable, meaning Wikipedia actually is reliable? :D

I'm not going to say that the sun shines out of Fauci's back passage, but his was one of the few sane voices heard during the Trump administration regarding the COVID pandemic.

I agree that it's over the top how Rowling is being pilloried.

I'm not claiming that there aren't any calls for censorship or banning on the left, just noting the hypocrisy of

Wearing masks in school is a controversial subject in many countries, and of course, that requirement differs a lot in it's implementation. USA is special, compared to other Western countries.

Yes the sun does not shine out of Fauci's backside. The point was that he's flawed and no one is infallible. He did recover himself on the HIV crisis but after two years with many lives lost during those two years. More mistakes will be uncovered with time as the John Hopkins study shows and the human costs, et al, of all the suicides attributed to the lockdowns should be accounted for.

It's been quite a week. After watching Tucker for the first time in years, I watched CNN's Anderson Cooper last night, again for the first time in years. He has a new look that was driving me crazy trying to figure out who he reminded me of. Then, right after the Russian False Flag threat piece, it hit me. Spotswood! Crazy right?

It's quite charming to see a conservative so concerned about lives lost during the AIDS crisis.

We're all flawed to some degree and nobody here has claimed that Fauci is infallible. Just remember this - the US and state governments are responsible for pandemic policies, protocols and mandates, not Fauci. As Chief Medical Advisor to the President, he makes recommendations - in consultation with his own staff - to the administration. It's up to them to heed or disregard that advice.

None of the policies implemented by the US/state governments have been more severe than what we've seen in other western countries. In many ways, they have been more lax. They've been enacted in good faith based on the best available information. In retrospect, will flaws be found? Most certainly. However, the world has been flying this plane while building it. We can't expect perfection. But that doesn't validate hair-brained nonsense emanating from the fringe elements. Fauci's legacy is probably pretty safe - unless an extreme right-wing government gains power and does a Stalinist othering hitjob on him.

Yes, we're good on the homework issue thank God.

Agree as well that time will tell on Fauci's recommendations for sure. His mistakes will also reflect on Trump, and all, state, local, etc. who listened to them.

Agree we cannot expect perfection but we must also acknowledge when our decisions prove incorrect and adjust accordingly as quickly as possible.

Conservatives are usually pro life from what I understand. Generally, Leftists are the ones who don't seem so concerned about lives lost to their ideas. The +100m that Lenin, Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, Castro, et al, killed are a monument to that.

A future government, Left or Right, might indeed govern as you describe. If that happens, it will be the fault of members of both parties that allowed power to metastasize in DC. The Constitution was designed to stop it.

Maybe, you are asking the wrong question. Looking preliminarily at the John Hopkins report:
In one year:
How many lives were saved by the lockdowns?
1,800 estimated
How many lives were lost by the lockdowns?
60,000 substance abuse alone
64,000 (deferred cancer care, suicide, other)
= 124,000
+ number of children falling behind in school, speech impairments, etc, long term costs.
+ economic costs? Billions

Would like to drill down on these numbers when I have the time. They do seem incredible to me. The verasity of it certainly should be discussed openly.

What is interesting is that SOME outlets in Media are not reporting on this study at all.
Anderson Cooper on CNN LOL last night did not mention a word about this study on his show. NY Time, nothing..
Hmmmm I wonder?

So that's what Tucker's referring, the link you mentioned? I didn't hear him say anything about that.
