somewhat. I mean, I think the quality of his music is commensurate with his lyrics. Different strokes and all that, I suppose. His brilliance as an artist is what helped him overcome the limitations of his voice, like Bob Dylan, Tom Waits and Lou Reed.
Well, he wouldn't be remotely unique in that regard.
And, is a
wicked guitarist.
Yup. Recently picked up a greatest hits (early stuff, pre-Fitzgerald) double-album on vinyl, in excellent condition, for a buck.
