What types of cables should I be considering to connect the amp to the back of the speaker cable connectors on the back of the cabinet? Or do cables come with the driver?

I attach the Speakon connectors to 12g speaker wire. Drivers won't come with any wire/cables. Altho not sure that's what you're asking...

Speakon is from crown to the speaker. From the AVR its rca to xlr. If it's the newer crown, set the input to .775 and you can run rca to rca.

The avr will have no issues. The speakon connection is a speaker level connection, so if the sub amp and the sub have them it's just that simple. 4 pole connectors aren't used unless your bridging or biamping, yours will just use 2 unless your doing the aforementioned. From the avr just use rca to rca in on the crown

The sub in to the Amps is RCA to RCA. If your bridging this video discusses the pinouts from the amp to the sub. It's very easy just take your time and double check as you dont want to fry either

EverettT has pointed you in the right direction, altho I use rca to rca for the 1.4V input on my Crown XLS 1500s without issue, you may not need the .775V setting.

Keep in mind the direction of the signal. Your avr has no subwoofer inputs (unless it has a multich input for use with analog outputs from a dvd/bluray player or similar). The relevant connection in your case would be the subwoofer pre-outs (outputs) on the avr to the inputs on the amp (Crown XLS has a choice of rca, xlr or 1/4" inputs).

As far as connecting the driver to the terminal in the sub cabinet, you can use pretty much any handy speaker cable as the length is short, I use whatever's handy, 14g, 12g, etc. That is what I was wondering if you were asking earlier.

Summarizing for your avr to Crown amp rca to rca coax cable.
From Crown amp to sub if using speakon connectors at both ends, just use appropriate gauge speaker cable/wire with the speakon connectors.
From driver to the speakon terminal on the sub cabinet...pretty much any handy speaker cable (if you're getting 12g for the longer length, a bit of this will do just fine).

Yes if your AVR doesnt have dual sub outs. Then one single to each crown.

Speaker wire is a 2 conductor unless you want to increase the effective gauge by using 4 conductor and twisting a pair of ends together. RCAs are coaxial.

Some drivers use a simple spring clip, others may use another type, some would just accept bare wire ends, or another type of connector (I want to say spade, but that's not the right name) (some prefer to solder them in place, too). The speakon terminal on the sub cabinet you'd also use bare wire ends and secure them with a screwdriver (or again, you can solder them in place).

Just wire the sub driver separately, so you only have 2 wires between the speakon. So jumper wire between each coil .

Sorry another question.... Just wondering why you recommended the 4 pole speakon connector when using a 2 pole wire? Wouldn't the https://www.neutrik.com/en/product/nl2mp and the https://www.neutrik.com/en/product/nl2fx be more appropriate?

I just need it to fit a 12 AWG speaker cable.
