Watched the season finale of "The Flash" tonight...
It was frickin' awesome..!
Great ending to a great season...

Watched the "Preacher" premiere on Sunday... (Continues on AMC at 9 PM Sunday starting June 5th)
As a reader of the comic book (have the whole run), it was pretty good...
It's not going to follow the book as closely as expected, which should help bring a few surprises...

I started binge watching Longmire on Netflix. I'm already into season 2. It's pretty good so far. I like the characters and the writing.

I'm still in the middle of the 1st season of The Flash.

Watched about 10 min of The Preacher. Liked it so far, but wife didn't like. So may be watching this one by myself.

A sort of Twister clone to summer hit 1996 with a documentary style. Visual cgi effects looked polished with some of the insane tornadoes ripping a small town to bits.

Sound is intensely loud with plentiful of lows reaching down to 20Hz.

Framed in 1.78:1 W/S

Couldn't resist sound storm bass buster TWISTER for a tornado spin.

Framed 2.35:1 scope.

Cool bass mid, to sub bass effects that I can feel against my body. PLIIx works out very well with stereo surrounds extending effects back further around in the room.

Laser rot status is minor few flickers now and then so its holding up fairly well for a pressing for 20 years.

Picture quality transfer looks decent enough for THX-laserdisc standard.

Sound is rocking bass mid sub bass LFE.1 surrounding listening fun.

Dolby diamorm +4db

Chapter 8 LFE.1 rumbles around a bit along with lots of bass rummble on LCR and split surrounds.
