The subs will be for movie watching only I wanted ro see if you can please provide me advise on which subs will be better I’m between the Starke Sound SW15 Sealed that has 450 watts ems & hoes doen to 10hz or the SW15P Ported that has 475 watts rms & goes down to 15hz Can you please advise which of these 2 will be better for movies? There is practically nothing worthwhile below 16 Hz, but if you are interested in a more efficient subwoofer cabinet with lower distortion, I suggest you opt for the ported design. The ported design is always preferable for most practical purposes. The sealed version is the one to use when your room space is limited, or if you happen to have a WAF problem. One sub or multiples? Generally I'd go with the ported....in general,, wouldn't need to be for movies only.
