Thanks Duff, thats from all of us. I'm the bald one though. Craig must have the curly hair. Buck is the geek in the brown suit.

I always wanted to be one of the Stooges. Maybe my wife has curlers I could borrow.

That Gotham looks pretty serious. 7 large is a lot of dough, though.

Four EP-600's and a Velo SMS-1, for example.

Well, you've gotta plug in the included microphone, put it in the listening position, and press the button on the front panel.

Maybe a pair of the 12" cubes are the cannons you're looking for Mule...

Jax, post some specs for those subs.
The web site used to have a lot of specs - I am either missing something, or they are gone.

I think the DD1812 is damn sexy too. Sealed, 2 woofers, tons of power, all the goodies too. Not to mention solid build quality (385 lbs!).

Mac...you and I think alike (at least when subs come to mind).

Edit: I would post specs, but JL's site is messed up and has a bunch of blanks. From what I can find and remember, the cones have like 3.5" peak to peak excursion, the amp (for the Gotham) is 3800W RMS , and the enclosure is somewhere around 200lbs.

What good are you then? That's the whole point, to be consumed.

That servo control is the way to go for accurate bass. They actually use an accelerometer and a feedback loop to correct the excursion of the woofer. That would mean the response would be linear and have an almost perfect phase response. WOW.
