Magnepan - specially 1.7 best value for money. I am biased, my primary speakers since 1999.

I had very expensive Sonus Faber Electa Amator III speakers. When I sold off my "high end" system, I downgraded to Fyne F303i speakers.
The Fynes sell for a tiny fraction of the Sonus Fabers. They easily sound 90-95% as good as the Sonus Fabers.
They are great budget speakers!

It would not surprise me if they are better. Those speakers are made in Scotland including the bass mid drivers. From the look of those drivers it looks as if they have exactly followed the driver precepts of the late Ted Jordan, who I knew personally and communicated with, until his death. The UK has a history of producing some of the world's finest speakers. The Italians do not. The tweeters are high end Besmas.

I bet they are really good speakers. I have heard Sonus Faber from time to time, and not overly impressed to say the least.

The Sonus Fabers are over priced. They look nice, but you are certainly not getting your money's worth in sound quality.
The Fynes on the other hand, sound much better than their price.

I like my Sonus Fabers and I quite enjoy the sound they produce in my use case but the brand is certainly more of a luxury type brand. You're paying for the name, build details and design/style more than anything else.

I'd still love to hear some of their high-end models but the brand has never been a performance per dollar one. Much like you don't by a Mercedes of Bentley just to get from point A to point B.

Sounds like a great replacement then Sonus Fabers you must be paying for the box or brand name ?
I don’t think it’s possible to get the Fyne F303i here in the USA.

I know at least one dealer in the USA that sells Fyne. Upscale Audio.

yea I see that.
Not your model just very expensive ones. At that point I’m happy with my cheap stuff for now. My Klipsch are probably better than these but they are decent for bedroom setup. it’s unfortunate that another edition never came out and no elite edition or anything.

Actually, my model the F303i is made in China. Fyne's higher level lines are made in Scotland.
They may be assembled in Scotland. But how are you sure the actual drivers are actually manufactured in a Factory or Foundry in Scotland?

Are you sure the CURVED cabinets are handmade in Scotland or only the very Square and Very Rectangular boxes are made in Scotland?
