Magnepan - specially 1.7 best value for money. I am biased, my primary speakers since 1999.

I had very expensive Sonus Faber Electa Amator III speakers. When I sold off my "high end" system, I downgraded to Fyne F303i speakers.
The Fynes sell for a tiny fraction of the Sonus Fabers. They easily sound 90-95% as good as the Sonus Fabers.
They are great budget speakers!

It would not surprise me if they are better. Those speakers are made in Scotland including the bass mid drivers. From the look of those drivers it looks as if they have exactly followed the driver precepts of the late Ted Jordan, who I knew personally and communicated with, until his death. The UK has a history of producing some of the world's finest speakers. The Italians do not. The tweeters are high end Besmas.

I bet they are really good speakers. I have heard Sonus Faber from time to time, and not overly impressed to say the least.

The Sonus Fabers are over priced. They look nice, but you are certainly not getting your money's worth in sound quality.
The Fynes on the other hand, sound much better than their price.
