Whew.
Finally got to sit down and watch S2 over the past few nights.
As a show it is absolutely enjoyable. You just can't be beholden to the Novel story as written by Jordan, hoping every little detail comes through. I enjoy what they are doing, even if the other side of my brain saying, "No, that's not how it was in the book!"
S3 was previously confirmed and began filming prior to the SAG Strike. So it's possible to return in 2024, though it may not be until '25. One site indicates that the target novel is Book 4,
The Shadow Rising.
There had been previous talk of them combining novels into a season so we'll have to wait and see if that occurs here. There are some major plot points in Book 3 which I would expect to see worked in to the story.
