Wheel Of Time on Amazon Prime (Nov 2021)

Whew.
Finally got to sit down and watch S2 over the past few nights.

As a show it is absolutely enjoyable. You just can't be beholden to the Novel story as written by Jordan, hoping every little detail comes through. I enjoy what they are doing, even if the other side of my brain saying, "No, that's not how it was in the book!"

S3 was previously confirmed and began filming prior to the SAG Strike. So it's possible to return in 2024, though it may not be until '25. One site indicates that the target novel is Book 4, The Shadow Rising.
There had been previous talk of them combining novels into a season so we'll have to wait and see if that occurs here. There are some major plot points in Book 3 which I would expect to see worked in to the story.

S3 finished filming in late March. Still no release date, but I wouldn't expect it until early '25.

Hope I'm wrong and we see it late Autumn!

The complicating factor is other shows releasing on Amazon.
For example, Rings Of Power S2 is slated for this year, likely Summer time and likely going head to head with House Of Dragons as it did when they both released their respective S1s.
Considering that, is there any other property Amazon might be releasing this year? Hanna and Jack Ryan are both done, though there was speculation of a continuation to the Amazon Jack Ryan story via movie or something... Reacher just released earlier this year. Outer Range S2 is supposed to be next Month. Citadel is supposed to have a spinoff airing sometime this year, too, though details have been scant on that. Likewise, no word on Citadel S2 itself...

Yup. Really hope they get WOT to market, and the sooner the better!
