Ukraine – Russia … not more of the last thread

Ukraine are fighting a form of asymmetric warefare, and have been doing so from when Russia invaded. They've just got more sophisticated in their tactics. Battlefield tactics, intelligence ops, and diplomacy they've outdone Russia with fewer resources. Especially in terms of manpower.

Can they maintain this advantage? To be seen, especially with little interest from the current US administration.

But if they can produce their own version of the Patriot missile defence system, then this could be, not a game changer - as the Russians seem to think that targetting civilians will bring a country to its knees. When history shows that a united and resilient population can endure. The Nazis were winning the Battle of Britain until they swiched from bombing UK military targets to bombing cities in an act of frustration.

The US, not being more generous in giving weapons or licensing production of Patriots and other missile defence systems could lead to the Ukrainians developing cheaper systems and cutting the rug from the US defence industry as these can be marketed elsewhere.

They have become a world leader in drone technology and application from a standing start a few years ago.
