New? Well, new to me I guess. I always had the hots for some of the old silver faced stuff. I sold stereo equipment until about 1980, and the Sansui G series were always one of the "Wow" ones, looks wise. I got this recently, with a year warranty from one of those places that restores old equipment, a G5700, a transition unit that has both an analog tuning scale and digital readout:

I bought a bluetooth adaptor so I can play music from my phone through it and a amp/speaker switch so I can run my main speakers and another set with it and my AVR. Only thing I won't have is a volume control at the receiver, but the phone will work well enough. I threw my back out trying to pick it up, so I need to get someone younger than me to plop it onto the shelf.

That's a lovely vintage amp! I was going to suggest a BT adapter that has a remote and volume control. I'm sure there must be one out there, but you already have a BT adapter.

Switching to a new Aeron Chair. Been looking at less expensive options for a while now but nothing satisfied me.

Drove 40 minutes to a showroom today to try it out. It will be much more supportive than any other recliner, executive chair or gaming chair I found. 12 year warranty, too.

I ordered a tape loop remote volume control about 30 min ago!

I did some research after promising my son a new chair for graduation. Settled on the Icon Q2 as a good mid-price chair. You can spend well over $1k for a good office chair but the Q2 comes in at around $500 here and it's a nice mesh-back chair.

I really didn't want to spend so much. I'm not a furniture guy, at all. After sitting in it for around 15 minutes and learning the controls, I understood why they have been so popular for so long.

Also, working against me is my size. Too many office chairs don't support folk with a large frame. I'm 6'3", and on a good year around 230#. I'm coming off a bad year and paying for it. *facepalm

Options for us big folk are limited, and when it comes to ergonomics, I've found you really have to match your size to get the benefit.
