The A/C noise doesn't interfere with movies and music? o_O

I can't speak for fuzz. But for myself, movies and music are less enjoyable when the room temp hits 80 degrees. Still, mine's much quieter than the one I grew up with 30 years ago. :)

I've always liked the look of the silver plating and finally bit the bullet to move from an intermediate (Yamaha YAS-52) to this professional level Alto Sax. It plays wonderfully!
Aside from the silver plating (in lieu of gold lacquer) It is the same make and series as my beloved Baritone Sax (my primary horn)!

Neat! I got one recently too, although mine has unintended side effects. What brand / model is yours?

It's a GE 6000 BTU unit from HD.

It's quieter unit, around 54db on low and 60ish on high. Plus when it gets down to temp in the room it isn't always on. When I'm watching movies, I'm usually watching at reference so there aren't too many instances when A/C noise would make a huge difference. It has a remote so if it does become an issue, one button press and the noise is gone. Lastly see below.

Exactly. This is so much quieter than what I'm used to in terms of A/C noise. In reality I probably should have gone with a larger unit, but the price jump up to an 8000 was a little more than I wanted to spend.

Even though this is in the basement, between the projector, amps, and hot and humid weather outside it can easily hit 84 down here which is not conducive to movie watching whatsoever. With the A/C it is delightful compared to without it.

Lightning strike very close (and loud) blew out all our phones and tv's and most components connected to the tv's. Den tv ended up with its hdmi port blown but tv itself still ok. Directv tech replaced the blown dtv receiver and connected it to tv by component connection. Other tv has now been replaced with a Sony Bravia 60" Smart TV, a replaced DTV receiver and replaced the blown out Pioneer VSX-43 with a 2016 VSX-LX101. Very unhappy that I lost all my previous equip (only 3 y.o.) but very happy with how my new equip functions. Setup was very easy.

Couldn't use my TM vouchers for this one, but they had a discount code so I still got them a little cheaper. 4th row center section!!

HUAWEI Portable Stereo Bluetooth Speaker

One will go back. I'll see which one I like. The cool thing is both have 2 stereo speakers. Huawei is suppose to be bass strong, while the Mpow has nice Mids/Highs, but bass is a bit lacking. I'll be the judge. :) The ones I own only have one speaker. :(

One of my beloved JBL LSR2325 monitors went haywire this week. They recently went out of warranty as the other monitor had the same issue late last year and I had it repaired just before the warranty expired. Anyways, this gives me a chance to try something different.

Decided to take a chance on an ipod touch from ebay. Now that I'm paying for spotify every month, I decided to grab an ipod touch to make use of spotify more on the go and at the gym. Gonna give this whole not buying music thing a try.

:\

I'm trying to squeeze from the bottom of the tube on my LG G2 long enough for the 2016 Nexus to be released. When it's available, I'm switching my service to Project Fi. Until then, I'm keeping my fingers crossed....

First 6 movies. Just DVDs, but just $19.99 at Target. Not a Trekkie, but haven't seen them in years and for the price figured DVDs were good enough.

Went to DSG annual tent sale and got 3 polos for the price of one regularly priced UA polo. Good times. Also my Garmin Fenix 3 Sapphire wouldn't connect to the satellite GPS anymore so I had to send it back in. It is out of warranty, but it looks like Garmin is going to fix or replace it for free minus shipping charges to them. Pretty sweet. In the meantime my wrist feels weird without a watch on it so I picked up a refurb from Amazon.
