I can't speak for fuzz. But for myself, movies and music are less enjoyable when the room temp hits 80 degrees. Still, mine's much quieter than the one I grew up with 30 years ago.The A/C noise doesn't interfere with movies and music?![]()
It's a GE 6000 BTU unit from HD.Neat! I got one recently too, although mine has unintended side effects. What brand / model is yours?
It's quieter unit, around 54db on low and 60ish on high. Plus when it gets down to temp in the room it isn't always on. When I'm watching movies, I'm usually watching at reference so there aren't too many instances when A/C noise would make a huge difference. It has a remote so if it does become an issue, one button press and the noise is gone. Lastly see below. The A/C noise doesn't interfere with movies and music?![]()
Exactly. This is so much quieter than what I'm used to in terms of A/C noise. In reality I probably should have gone with a larger unit, but the price jump up to an 8000 was a little more than I wanted to spend.I can't speak for fuzz. But for myself, movies and music are less enjoyable when the room temp hits 80 degrees. Still, mine's much quieter than the one I grew up with 30 years ago.![]()

I'm trying to squeeze from the bottom of the tube on my LG G2 long enough for the 2016 Nexus to be released. When it's available, I'm switching my service to Project Fi. Until then, I'm keeping my fingers crossed....
