Well, with such great results why are you holding back on the source??
It does in a small box in Description. Specifically,While anything should be better than nothing, I'm surprised there isn't a single mention of the noise reduction level. I had bought a box of 500 pr of Howard Leight in-ear plugs years ago for use in motorcycling (still have more than half) and when I chose I looked at the various Noise Reduction Ratings. The ones I have are a -33dB.
Here at home we use a rotary blade push mower and the only motor driven power tool I have is an Ariens Platinum 30 snowblower with a big 414cc motor. I don't have over ear protection muffs while running that, but a wool hat and thick hood works pretty darn good.
For now (testing mode), it's just sitting on top, running on High mode and pulling air up and out.Is this attached to a cabinet or enclosure or directly to the receiver? How about a picture, I'd like to see how you used it.
What about noise? What speed level do you use?
Congrats KEW. I like the green too. Can't wait for the review!I think it is safe to say that an unintentional green tinge on the concentric driver is one reason for the delay of the formal release of the ELAC Uni-Fi.
Interestingly, there is no discount for buying the blemished version since people are clamoring to get ahold of these. I like the green look. If they could apply the same treatment to the ELAC emblem to tie it into the design, I think it would be a popular option!
My pair is on the way!

They arrive on Thursday. It looks like I will be comparing them against:Cant wait to read your opinion on the Elac's KEW. I am really interested, but they are so... boxy and vinyl. Just dont think i could make them work in my living room.
Thanks, I had not looked into that! I will probably use Outlaw Model 200 mono-blocs with them.Got a powerful amplifier? I read a publication that said they were hungry.
PS: ELAC website gives 7/5/16 as release date.SPECIFICATIONS
