I used to be an Onkyo fan but constant problems made me buy a marantz a few years back. Best receiver ever owned. Style, price, sound, features and setup are the best you can find.
So the answer is
B. Marantz

O

Audiophyte
Denon. Higher-end models for balance of value, amplifier and features.

I would say Marantz, because it looks very good, has great specifications, and seems to be reliable.

It used to be Yamaha; i still have my rx-v870 from 1993! after that and since 2002, my fav is Marantz. my sr-8000 developed a problem 2 years ago and needs repair--- but it was 15 years old then--- and i don't know if it would be worth the cost. i would love to have another Marantz. why? audio quality and clean power capability. another reason i just don't have my 8000 (which came with an incredible learning, multi-page, remote, btw...) repaired, is because the connection array (no hdmi) and lack of wifi / BT, etc., connectivity makes it so far out of date, i might be better off trying to save for a new model. plus, where to send it? just how much is that going to cost? how difficult would it be to ship safely and cost to insure, etc., for a now 17-year-old unit? so, yeah-- i would love to win this new Marantz model!

Denon is the only brand I have had a chance to own so I guess that makes it my favourite.

Harmon Kardon. I've just had them for years and never had any problems.

Marantz for sure. My first real audio component was a Marantz 8 track tape player that I installed in my 1964 Chevrolet Malibu with a high performance 327 CI engine. The thing was not even in a case and we bolted it to the transmission tunnel forward of the 4 Speed shift lever. Sound was incredible for the day with all the tape path components fully exposed. It was really great as we drove out of Denver up into the mountains where the radio signals wouldn't go! Currently have an SR 7012 and would love to win this to give to my little brother!

I’m new to this hobby and currently running an outdated kenwood receiver and would love to update to a Denon or Marantz someday but definitely would pick a Marantz from all the reviews I’ve read and videos I’ve seen and I also just really like the looks of it.

I've never used a Marantz receiver. I've had Yamaha, Denon, Integra, and Onkyo. Out of those, I prefer the Yamaha with Denon second.

I've only had experience with Yamaha and Onkyo. Out of those two I would choose Yamaha. But always wanted to try Marantz.

I'm tired of Yamaha. I'm interested in the Marantz amplifier section.

Denon. I've had several Denon units and they performed great. Less expensive than Marantz, but great performance. BTW: I have my late father's Marantz Model 4400 - a classic!!
