The JBL Control 1 wintertime surround array up and running!

This angle was kinder tight to get as well as the tightening up of the (mould nut).

Wow during chapter 35 where Superman throws out one mighty piece of rock the levels on the four-channel array JBL Control 1 surrounds really heightens the scene with the choir and has his body hits the ground a very soft boom reverbs around the room.

So far the JBL Control surround array has cost £240.90 UK not bad going considering I’m using x10 and most you spend or rather overlook the surround array and with a mere x4 surrounds costing far more over what I have thought out and installed is very doable.

Wow the Superman end credits theme is about to role, and I’m going to some calibration now and enjoy a few more than a few films with some Superfast tests!

Star Wars episode 3 Revenge of the Sith is around we to the side of me and above me does this get any better.

With Superman Returns some of the bass was vibration the floor with all the other channels turned off! Where I only had the x2 JBL height surrounds playing during chapters 10 and 12, as the plane draws nearer and nearer to the ground the reverberation within the cockpit was picking up louder and louder on the heights , it was enveloping and exciting as well.

Well join me on MSN messenger chat and I’ll explain the wiring diagram it was kinder easy to figure out.

The connections like RCA phone leads are as affordable as you can get and still I’m amazed with the detail in the sound.

Fronts will let’s put it this way. I can send the monaural centre phantom that exists between and on the left and right fronts to the centre channel while in Dolby Digital 5.1 mode or 4.1 makes no difference, try doing that on your AVR or AVP and the solution to this is very easy as well.

It’s a Matrix affair. While some dislike the use of it, and while I can give greater spread of the sound over the three-screen with constant activeness if I was in the mood, its simple press of the button.

As for April I was doing this since summertime 2006 and it’s still not complete as of yet, thou I have been thinking x32 JBL Control 1 for the surround array is kinder pushing it, may x22, anyway I’ll play I by ear for now. It sure sounds (((surrounds))) great.

As for surrounds in the floor, hmm don’t get me started. I have looked into the possibilities in the past and this would need a very complex configuration and a total refurbishment of the entire floor also it would be very costly, but in the long run it would sound great.

I challenge someone else to do this!

Two nights ago at around 3am in the morning I decided to move the JBL 4645 into her upward position. Isn’t she a beauty!

After cleaning her up and moving her in towards the right-hand side corner, replacing the JBL control 5 into a different position was called for and re-calibration and equalization as well.

Looking downwards wow, kinder gives you vertigo it does. But isn't she a beauty.

An upward view angle gives you a different view. I like her she’s a beauty.

She out performs all my mates sub bass speakers, even the little tiny one I have, that’s why I use one for sub bass extension and one for LFE.1 only. Or I could just use the JBL 4645 for both it’s designed for playing back film soundtracks and does it shake my neighbours flat above her cocker dances around!

Audio is fun though, we can all have different preferences in how things can and should be reproduced. I have a friend that would drool over your sub.
