Cars (and modifying them) are definitely high on my list of interests. My current cars (I'll post pics of the crazy CLK when it is complete):

Mercedes CL 500 (daily cruiser, unmodified)
Mercedes C32 (modified to 430 hp 430 lb/ft torque w/ H&R coilovers)
Audi A6 4.2 (modified with GIAC chips and H&R coilovers) (rainy weather car)

Mercedes Kleemann 6.3 CLK - custom built Mercedes race car. This one has been in a shop for 2 years being converted into a 700 hp Mercedes race car. It is about 4 weeks away from completion!!!!

Currently looking to replace the CL500 w/ a used 550 Maranello

My tuners are the Ferrari instructors down at Willow springs. They can get me a used 550 (w/ under 7K miles) for around $80K. IMO, that is an incredible price for one of my all time favorite GTs.

Seriously, let me know and I'll meet you at WS for the day. I wouldn't want you to buy such a fine vehicle without a thorough test drive first. And it is a beautiful GT.

I was able to customize the sound system on my 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee exactly the way I wanted. Several amps, MD head unit with changer, extra speakers in the back
I've got a 2003 Jeep Liberty and the stock sound is possibly the worst I've ever heard in a modern vehicle... boomy distorted bass with highs that sounds like their being played through a telephone... underwater.

The problem is, I'm not sure I want to invest the time to do any upgrades and I'm positive I don't have room for a subwoofer (if I want to keep my rear cargo space).

Clint, have you checked out the Stealthbox options from JL Audio?

And Sleestack...what on earth do you DO for a living? You have 4 Mercedes, one is being modded into a race car, and you're shopping for new $20k speakers. Seriously man.

This is my car unfortunately, the girls are not mine. It's a 2002 XKR. I also have a 04 Ford Explorer, mountain bike and a kayak... but I thought you would be more interested in the Jag.

I was a corporate attorney for 6 years. Now I manage all of the family businesses. Primarily large real estate and some tech. My wife and I are in our mid 30s. We both work pretty hard and have secured our financial future, so I have a bit of disposable income. We try to be somewhat modest, but I do have a weakness for cars, electronics and golf. She has a weakness for jewelry and purses, so it all balances out.

I also own a 2001 Honda Odyssey. Four days after I bought it I started a website that has evolved into OdyClub.com.

My daily driver is a 1999 GMC Sierra that will get the usual treatment ... lowering, stereo, etc. That is, when I find time. :D

For A/V nuts, there are some pretty slick rides on here! Many folks think of us as some sort of professor gadgets or geeks. Well, OK, so what if I am? I have to say I'm a big fan of American Muscle. There is something about the sound of a big V8 or V-twin. It's music in it's purest form.

My rides include, at present,
1970 Monte Carlo Bought it in '75 from my at that time car salesman brother. We still speak, by the way.
1998 Town car. Just got it. Less than a '98 accord and rides a lot smoother!
1989 GMC 1500 Has over 200K and all original
2000 Fat Boy
1993 Bianchi hybrid Couldn't make up my mind if I wanted to hit the trail or the highway.
1990 Murray 36" Hey, we all have domestic duties.

The Monte is the favorite, although it's also the money pit. I could buy a new plasma, new surround sound system, dvd player and even some of those $500-1,000 snake oil, I mean high end cables with what I've spent on it the last few years. It is a beast, though, with handling rivaling many of the sports cars and over 400 horses to boot. With the 700R4 running the A/C it gets 19 or better on the highway also. Better than the Murray! I treated it to 3 bulk paks of Dynamat Xtreme for help with the sound as well. That stuff works pretty well!

Happy motoring!

The fun ride... (Not the work truck in the background, although it does have a great sound system  )

The practical ride...

The kids ride - two six volt batteries, not included  (upcoming birthday - daughter is turning 6 in a few weeks)
